Quarterback Kirk Cousins was also excited to be able to take practice outside of Redskins Park and to the fans. "It's special to come out to Andrews Air Force base, a historic base, so close to Washington D.C. with a lot of Redskins fans on base. It's great to see the support and hopefully we give them something to cheer about not only tomorrow, but all season long."

After the team went through a 30 minute walthrough of preparation and then met with the fans who were on-site. Col. E. John Teichert was thankful for the opportunity to host the practice at the base. "It is an honor for us. They are investing their time and demonstrating their concern for the military. They have a preseason game tomorrow and Thursday with the regular season two weeks away and they are here with us."
