Salute to Service Moment :: Redskins vs. Raiders

Staff Sergeant Steven A. Willis is the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) of the Information Systems Security Office Operations at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) in Chantilly, Virginia. Sergeant Willis is originally from Jacksonville, North Carolina.  Sergeant Willis entered the Air Force in January 2010 and completed technical training as a Cyber Systems Operator at Keesler AFB, Mississippi. He is the father of two boys In 2015, he was selected for a special duty assignment to the National Reconnaissance Office, Chantilly, VA where he serves as an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM). He is actively involved in the NRO’s Joint Advisory Enlisted Council and a member of the Joint Honor Guard.

Staff Sergeant Jodie L. Willis is the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of the Customer Relations Branch at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) in Chantilly, Virginia. Sergeant Willis is originally from Parsons, West Virginia. Sergeant Willis entered the Air Force in April 2010 and completed technical training as a Knowledge Operations Manager at Keesler AFB, Mississippi where she met her husband, of six years. She is the mother of two boys. In 2015, she was selected for a special duty assignment to the National Reconnaissance Office, Chantilly, VA where she serves as a security administration specialist and coordinates processing actions for NRO locations worldwide. She is actively involved in the NRO’s Joint Advisory Enlisted Council. 

Technical Sergeant Matt Golden is the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of the Common Service Layer-1 Network Operations Center at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) in Chantilly, Virginia.  Sergeant Golden is originally from Chicago, Illinois, and continued his family’s history of Air Force enlisted heritage, as his grandfather was a B-29 navigator.  Sergeant Golden entered the Air Force in December 2007, and has been fortunate to have been assigned to 5 bases across the United States and overseas, including an assignment to Osan Air Base, South Korea.    In his search for excellence, Sergeant Golden has held various positions in communications and cyberspace operations and holds 5 internationally recognized certifications.  In his current job, he manages multiple Information Technology projects and efforts while overseeing all operational activities for 56 personnel across 3 geographically separated units to help provide overhead intelligence network connectivity to various mission partners and warfighters around the world.
