The Redskins Honored The Military At The Annual Salute to Service Game on November 12, Presented by USAA

After a week of events at different bases across the Washington, DC area, the Redskins honored the military at the annual Salute to Service Game on November 12, presented by USAA.


Redskins Salute hosted the following military leaders:

  • Commandant of the Marine Corps, General Robert Neller
  • Chief of The National Guard Bureau, General Joseph Lengyel
  • US Army Surgeon General & Commander of Army Medical Command, Lt. General Nadja Y. West
  • Director of Navy Staff, Vice Admiral Kevin Donegan

Before the game, the Generals were able to observe the coin toss on the field and meet some of their favorite Redskins players. The Commandant even received a pair of signed cleats from Josh Norman!



The Generals also made an appearance at the USO-Metro Club presented by Lockheed Martin, where military members and their families were enjoying complimentary food from Famous Dave’s, drinks, music, giveaways, and more
